About Asterisk Coffee Bar
Craft coffee and cocktails
Located at 2101 Front St Ste 215, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Asterisk Coffee Bar operates as a coffee shop serving Cuyahoga Falls in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as cocktail bar, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (330) 208-0042. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is asterisk.coffee, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 427 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Cuyahoga Falls and suggests consistent service.
Cuyahoga Falls is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cuyahoga Falls follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I didn’t want to write this review because I’ve always loved Akron Coffee Roasters and Asterisks and I’ve been a regular for YEARS. BUT…today was the last straw. We used to come to Asterisks religiously but the staff changed, and the quality of drinks changed too. Today, we decided to visit because my husband wanted a large pour over and none of the other coffee shops around us have good pour over/larger pour over sizes. The staff consisted of two (very nice) girls. I received my iced latte and iced americano (which was not good at all, I overheard one of the “baristas” say she knows nothing about espresso so there’s that) but my husbands pour over hadn’t even been started yet which I’ve never seen before. It’s a pour over, it should have been the first thing they started on. They weren’t busy. We waited, and waited, and waited. Then the barista told us they actually do have the light roast my husband asked for (when ordering, she initially said they didn’t have any light roast, only dark roast and that the owner hasn’t been serving light roast….which is odd considering its summer and like…80+ degrees outside, but whatever). When she said this, we had already been waiting long eno

Was in the area and found this amazing coffee shop! Will make the drive to go back! The iced brown sugar latte was perfect! Great coffee taste with homemade flavoring… highly recommend this place! Update - I’m back again! Pastries are amazing as well!

I recently stopped into a quaint little coffee shop in Cuyahoga Falls and was seriously impressed. I ordered a cortado and their “cold fashioned,” while my date tried the Milano mule. Every drink was dialed in. The cortado was exceptional—rich, balanced, and crafted with the kind of precision that stands out if you care about good coffee. As someone who’s pretty particular about espresso, this one easily ranks among the better drinks I’ve had in a while. The cold fashioned was a standout in its own right—somehow capturing the essence of a classic old fashioned but in coffee form. Creative without being gimmicky. My date’s Milano mule was bright, tangy, and refreshing—perfectly executed. If you appreciate thoughtfully made coffee and unique, well-balanced drinks, this spot is absolutely worth a visit.

Another great local find! The wife had a Mole mocha and a savory scone, and I had an oolong tea, freshly brewed, and blueberry granola. Extremely fast and efficient, and very friendly staff, excellent barista, and a nice mix of small table seating in a bar. Some of the music was a little loud, but not too bad. Check it out!

Absolutely, beautiful place, the staff is truly amazing. I can’t wait to come back and try a different type of coffee. This one was a vanilla latte which was delicious.
